Rooftop Rainwater Harvesting Permit Application & Inspection Checklist

The Monterey County Resource Management Agency has created a new checklist defining when a permit is or isn't required when installing a rainwater harvesting system.  They are currently taking input on it.  I have attached the document below and you can scroll through it.  Garden Solutions Landscaping is providing input to the process.  Our goal is to make this process simple, well-defined, and not costly.  Feel free to contact me with any questions.

HarvestH2O.com has compiled an excellent listing of current Regulations and Statues by State.  Note that counties and cities may also have specific rainwater harvesting regulations.  Click on the following link to see regulations and statutes compiled by HarvestH2O.    www.harvesth2o.com/statues_regulations.shtml
