This 500 gallon tank will be used to water all the native and drought tolerant plants growing around the home.  The tank is connected to a Graf Quattro Twist downspout filter.  This downspout filter moves debris off the filter and down the down spout.  The water moves through the filter and into the tank.  As the tank fills up the water will move the other way back through filter and down the downspout.  In this case no overflow device is required.  The homeowner wanted 3 hose bibs on the tank.  One to fill up a garden bucket and two going in different directions to connect hoses to.  The 500 gallon tank was set on pavers to provide a firm surface on top of the sand.  The system was designed by Roger Manley of Central Coast Rainwater Harvesting and installed by Precision Plumbing 831-633-6145.
